Synopsis[]
Senbei lets Arale attend a school because he wants her to be a normal girl, but once she gets to the school, she starts using her abilities in unexpected ways!
Plot[]
Arale starts her first day of school. She wakes up Senbei by putting a grenade in his mouth. At the school, Senbei introduces Arale to the Headmaster. Arale is put in Ms. Yamabuki's class where she is sat next to Akane Kimidori who she considers to be her new best friend. She follows Akane to her friends Peasuke and Taro. She gains all their respect and is accepted as their friends when she easily takes down a tree with her bare hand. While being with her new friends, they run into Gala and Pagos who later take them to the Police Station. Arale stops them up for running into her new friends. Later that night, Senbei receives a call from the Gyaosu to pick up Arale and her friends.

Differences from the Manga[]
- In the manga version, Arale's baseball didn't go to other places in the world it just ended up in a jungle found by a tribe man.
- Some extra scenes of Senbei taking Aoi to the movies that were in the manga were not shown in this episode.
- In the manga when the police are chasing Arale and friends for riding motorcycles, they pull over for the cops. Arale presumably beats them up off-panel for talking to her friends rudely. In the anime, they don't pull over, and instead, a police chase ensues where Arale jumps off the motorcycle to the cop's instruction, causing the police car to ram right into her and break.
Trivia[]
- This is the first episode where the Sun was shown as a living entity.
- The cashier of the cinema where Senbei and Aoi go is Kinnikuman from the Weekly Shōnen Jump manga Kinnikuman.
